FAQs

Q: What are your pay rates?

A: Pay rates vary depending on your specialty and grade. It is in our interest to get the best possible rates for all of our workers, but this often depends on what the hospital is able to pay and on the cost of other staff who are also available for the position (possibly from other agencies). Unlike some other agencies, we do not publish standard pay rates as, in reality, rates need to be more flexible.

Q: Am I entitled to Holiday Pay, and if so, how many days? And how much a day?

A: Yes. We pay Holiday Pay in accordance with the current European Union Working Time Directives. In order to receive Holiday Pay it is necessary to actually take the time off work. Please give your place of work and your recruitment consultant as much notice as possible when booking a holiday. Holidays cannot be carried over from one year to the next and must be taken between 1st January and 31st December.

Q: Do I receive Sick Pay?

A: Yes. Sick Pay is paid in accordance with the current Government legislation.

Q: Will you be able to help find me accommodation?

A: Yes. Once a suitable position has been found in the area of your choice, every effort will be made to find suitable accommodation at a reasonable cost. Please ask your recruitment consultant for further information.

Q: Do I get paid more for working longer hours?

A: For all staff the possibility exists to earn additional pay outside the standard contractual hours. Each Division follows different rules, so working in the evening or the weekends may be of additional benefit to you. Please ask your recruitment consultant for further information.

Q: How else can I earn more money?

A: Just recommend your friends - you do not even have to be working for us! Talk to your recruitment consultant for more details about our VIP loyalty programme.

Q: What positions do you have available?

A: We have an abundance of positions available for all specialties and grades. Shortly we will be adding a real-time link from our vacancy database to this website.

Q: How long will it take you to find me work?

A: The hospitals and laboratories we deal with have many available positions, so it may only be a short period of time to find a job for you. However, there will also be more demand for some skills and grades than others, so your recruitment consultant is best to advise you of your specific options.

Q: What assistance do I receive with travelling?

A: Depending on each hospital/laboratory and on the positions available, there will be times that we will ask you to travel. We offer assistance with train times, bus routes, and directions for driving. Financial aid is dependent on the arrangement with the hospital/laboratory.

Q: How long can I work for?

A: As long as you want! Contracts can last for a few hours, days, months, or even on a permanent basis.
